The low-latency virtual sampler for Windows 95/NT is now even better! Announcing the Mellosoftron 2.1 (http://www.abc.se/~m9303/ml.html) ------------------------------------------------------------------ New features: - Improved resampling algorithms. - Selectable DirectSound device for systems with multiple sound cards. - Full WAV file paths are now allowed in PRGs (but I STILL think they are a bad idea - so use them only if you "have" to). - The default sustain slope for auto-created PRGs is now 0. Also, the PRG.DLL engine has been finalized for release in the Virtual Sampler SDK (Real Soon Now); one call has been modified and three new API entry points have been added. --- The Mellosoftron 2.1 is a * LOW-LATENCY *, fully programmable virtual sampler. It can be played with a MIDI controller, the computer keyboard, the mouse; or it can be controlled from other programs (Media Player, sequencers...). Mellosoftron patches are on an extended (and compatible) WAVmaker/MIDInight Express PRG + WAV format; General MIDI is fully supported. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: MS Windows 95/NT. DirectSound 3 or later. Pentium strongly recommended. Version 2.1 is a free upgrade for all registered users of version 2.0.
