The low-latency virtual sampler for Windows 95/NT is now even 
 better!

 Announcing the Mellosoftron 2.3 (http://www.abc.se/~m9303/ml.html)

 Among the news:

    - Drag and drop: you can now drag MAP, PRG and WAV files from 
      other programs supporting this (e.g. Windows Explorer) and 
      drop them onto the main window. You can also drop WAV files 
      on the PRG editor window.

    - An improved PRG editor: all editable items now have spin 
      buttons or their own data entry "wizards". Note ranges and 
      base notes can be entered from a graphic keyboard. The WAV 
      directory window displays basic file stats (bits/sample, 
      number of channels, sampling rate, duration in samples and 
      milliseconds) and also allows you to play the files before 
      adding them to the PRG. The End sample value is updated 
      automatically when a new WAV is added; the Start sample, Loop 
      start sample and Loop end sample values are reset.

    - An improved WAV view window (the buttons have a new look, 
      and there is a brand new one to quickly center the horizontal 
      axis); and...

    - ... (as always!) minor bug fixes.

 The Mellosoftron 2.3 is a * LOW-LATENCY *, fully programmable 
 virtual sampler. It can be played with a MIDI controller, the 
 computer keyboard, the mouse; or it can be controlled from other 
 programs (Media Player, sequencers...). Mellosoftron patches are 
 on an extended (and compatible) WAVmaker/MIDInight Express PRG + 
 WAV format; General MIDI is fully supported.
  
 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: MS Windows 95/NT. DirectSound 3 or later. 
                      Pentium strongly recommended.

 Version 2.3 is a free upgrade for all registered users of version
